AFS Oreintation Camp - 17-19 März 2017

Image
After 21 days in Switzerland, I finally had my AFS camp at Neunenegg, Bern. It was a place which let me had a rest and make friends from all around the world! This is the picture which included everyone of the camp. We were holding the flag of our home country but sadly there's no Jalur Gemilang (Malaysia flag). There were exchange students from Columbia, Chile, Paraguay, Guatemala, Honduras, Brazil, Costa Rica, Japan, Thailand and of course Malaysia. First of all, they were the camp leaders. Correction: They are the best camp leaders! They are AFS volunteers which are returnees from exchange too. In this picture they were acting out the typical Swiss behaviours. After this, we were asked to do a presentation. This picture is really amazing because it was the first night of camp. We didn't really know each other but we all sat together, talked, played and laughed. What made that possible? What element made up the bond between us? Maybe because we'r...

Part 2 of the previous post Hst mom said it was too warm for her on the snow mountain, so she was only wearing a T-shirt in this picture And FINALLY, we were on the top of the mountain! I had my lunch while watching this breath-taking scenery Ski-track. If I'm right No caption needed After I came down with a bobsled It was scary. Cable car again. It's the way back. I think it's shorter than when we went, just because it was the way back home. Luzern We stopped by here and had a quick walk while waiting for the train. That's me Standing on the Kappelbrüke (Cappel Bridge) I will write more if I visit Luzern once more That's all about the first snow-shoe hiking tour! Thanks fo...

According to Goooooooooogle,  Dallenwil is a municipality in the canton of Nidwalden in Switzerland.  For more information, please check out the link below: http://www.myswitzerland.com/en-ch/dallenwil-wirzweli.html We had to walk a distance which took us about 10 mins to reach the place where we took the cable car. The weather was very good. When we got the chance to admie the beauty of Switzerland, there's no reason for us to be afraid This view can purify my eyes and my soul Hahahahahahaha A selfie with host parents :D So this is the map that we can check it out  A hotel  My first snow-shoe hiking in life started from here!!! Before we took our first step, we had to eat something so that we had enough energy to reach our destination. This is rice bi...

Der 15th Tag - 10 März 2017

Being an exchange student in a foreign country isn't easy at all. It might seem to be easy but there are challenges waiting for me since the moment I woke up from sleep. I can't remember every single details of my exchange even though I really want to. I am tired, I can't tell or describe the reason why am I tired. However, I will be happy for the whole day long just because of a small thing, that can be a person, a sentence, a scene I saw, a song I listened to. I appreciate the little thing that happened.  The 15th day in Switzerland was one day that I specially happy. Although it was just a day, but for me, it's simple yet precious.  The weather was very good, sunny and warm. For a Malaysian like me who lives at a tropical country, that day's weather somehow made me feel home. I missed the hot bright sun when I was away from home. I took this picture before the chemistry class had started. It's the English garden that I will pass by In ...
