Der 15th Tag - 10 März 2017

Being an exchange student in a foreign country isn't easy at all. It might seem to be easy but there are challenges waiting for me since the moment I woke up from sleep. I can't remember every single details of my exchange even though I really want to. I am tired, I can't tell or describe the reason why am I tired. However, I will be happy for the whole day long just because of a small thing, that can be a person, a sentence, a scene I saw, a song I listened to. I appreciate the little thing that happened.

The 15th day in Switzerland was one day that I specially happy. Although it was just a day, but for me, it's simple yet precious.

The weather was very good, sunny and warm. For a Malaysian like me who lives at a tropical country, that day's weather somehow made me feel home. I missed the hot bright sun when I was away from home. I took this picture before the chemistry class had started.

It's the English garden that I will pass by

In the evening, my classmates had a performance in the school auditorium. It was a German drama performance. With my level of German understanding, I could not know much about it, that's actually quite sad. The following pictiures will show what was happening.

I don't have a good camera with me so pictures were all taken by my phone camera. The picture quanlity might not be that good.

I enjoyed myself very very much. I felt a little bit closer to them, just a baby step. Swiss people are relatively not that easy to open up to foreigner. And I am shy. Yes, I am. So, it gets harder to get friends in school. It's not that they are not nice, maybe it's just I'm too shy.

Okay, whatever. I liked this performance very well. That's the most important point.

After the performance, I didn't stay longer in school and I just went back home. My friend told me that the class went for a celebration after that. And they wanted me to join them. I am so touched because of this. I scolded myself silently, why didn't I stay longer?

But I believe that I have more chances waiting for me since I still have a long tme in Switzerland. There will be one time that I can speak German with all of them. I believe that.
