Basel Yes, after I came back from Bern, the next day I woke up early again and went to Basel with my host father, Patrik. I was tired but I still wanted to go to Basel. I'm kind of stubborn though I think. When we arrived at Basel, we decided to walk from train station to the old town since it was still early and the weather was good for a walk. My first impression of Basel was elegant . Why would I say so? I will reveal the answer bit by bit in this post. We walked through the old town. Shops and stores were not yet opened, not much poeple were walking on the street, that's why the streets were quiet. The first place we went was Basler Münster, this cathedral of Basel is the most famous landmark of Basel. No buildings can steal the eyes of the tourists other than Basel Cathedral. Bern I spent this afternoon in Bern, the capital city of Switzerland. So, this post will have a lot of pictures about what I did in Bern. Viel Spass! outside of Bern Bahnhof (train station) I'm not bad at remembering direction but I was lost in the train station. SO many buses, tramps and stations. I was confused I took this when I crossed the road. Street of Bern We went to a park near the University of Bern. Jessie and my lunch I don't know what is this. But it is a nice building People enjoyed the sun. It was warm under the sun. We took a nap here, just lying on the soft grass, closing our eyes, chilling. Trubschachen Hey there, without wasting my holiday, I went to Bern after the BBQ evening with the family. I stayed over at Jessie's place which is a village at the outside of Bern city. It's always good to meet friend. And the next morning, I was with the AFS exchange students who are under Bern chapter, we went to the Kambly factory. Kambly is Swiss biscuit factory, it was founded in 1910 by Oscar Kambly. Today, Kambly is Switzerland's largest biscuit producer and it is represented in more than 30 countries. There are 2 factories, one in Trubschachen, another one in Lyss, both factories are in the Canton of Bern. The first factory is the one in Trubschachen, Oscar Kambly the third bought the Arni AG in Lyss in 1999 as the second factory. The founder of Kambly got to know a girl that lived in Trubschachen. He went to her home and he had this idea to make biscuit after his grandmother's recipe. And then he found Kambly. The information about Kambly is from Wikipedi...

Blausee And the next day after Bern viewing, I went to Blausee with  Jessie,  Stephenine (from Hong Kong),  Luana (Jessie's conatct person, from Switzerland),  Julia (a friend of Luana, had her holiday at Switzerland) and  Anuschka (Maria's contact person, a Swiss girl too) What is Blausee? Blau is blue in German, See is lake in German. Thus, Blausee is literally blue lake. Blausee is famous for its clear blue colour of lake. Many people will love to visit this place because of its beauty.
