Aarau 13 April 2017
Aarau
Finally, I'm here writing about the town I live, Aarau! To be honest, I never take my time and have a completely close look to Aarau until this day. Stephenine visited me and I brought her to walk around in the old town of Aarau. We were lucky because the weather was pretty good. I've been told about the April weather a few times since I came here. April is the end of the winter and beginning of spring, the weather is unstable because it can be snowy/cloudy/sunny/rainy or all-in-one day. AND sunny day doesn't mean it is warm outside. I really learnt my lesson. That's why a clear blue sky and warm tempature is totally a blesssing.
So this blue cloud-like roof is the symbol of Aarau bus station. When I first saw this, I was like 'WOW, this is so cute!'. But after I went to Architecture museum in Basel with Patrik, I change my mind. This blue roof here is one of the inspirational modern architecture in Switzerland. That's why I took a picture of it when I was with Stephenine, especially.
Spring time! Trees were blooming at that time and guess what. I LOVE THEM. I have many pictures of blooming trees and this is one of my favourite!
Stephenine arrived at here in August of 2016 and she's going back to Hong Kong in a few days. Not only her, basically all the exchange students who arrived at last summer are going back to their own home country. And I'm sad about this.
We don't live close to each other and we don't hang out a lot either. But I really like to be with her. I don't have to stress out because she's really easy-going. We can talk about anything because we're quite similar to each other.
We were by the Aare river. Peeple walk with their dog, ride bicycles, swim in this river during summer or just walk along the river. That seems like the favourite thing to do of Aarau people during the free time. Because the view is so nice and the air is so fresh!
Aare!
This was the SUPER NICE vegetarian fried rice at the Asian restaurant in Aarau train station. It's weird to eat rice with plate and fork. The combination of chopsticks and fork is also weird. But they still work things out.
I should have control my emotion.
okay, back to Aarau.
I see Aarau as my second home to be honest. Whenever I have a trip to somewhere far, as long as I reach Aarau Bahnhof, I feel safe and relief, I feel home. I think I will have more posts about Aarau in the future because I fall in love with this town day by day and my idea will change as time pasts. Or I will change.
Thanks for reading!
Hope you like it :)
