Konstanz, Deutschland
After Basel, the 4 of us explored a place called Konstanz in the southern of Germany. We crossed the border of Switzerland and went all the way to Germany. I attached a screenshot of Google Maps which shows the location of Konstanz. Hope It will help to give you some idea.
With the lessons I learnt, I did prepare for the weather since it was a day with light snow. I come from Malaysia, a tropical country. Spring is a season which I like it and hate it at the same time. I developed a love-hate situation with Spring. It could be sunny and warm but in a blink of time it could change and become cloudy and chilly. I didn't believe it when my host parents told me it would snow in May until I witnessed it.
We spent 2 hours (or more) of travelling in a train from Switzerland to Germany. When the train reached the platform in Germany, the sky started to show us its magic and it snowed. Snowflakes hit me in the face and I could eat it just by opening my mouth. We walked as fast as possible into the train station. The snowfall didn't stop in a short time so we decided to continue our journey, ignoring the snow.
The snowfall stopped when we had lunch.
To-do list: eat ice cream in winter
YESSSSS, I DID IT! It wasn't a big goal but my little wish. As you can see, I was wearing my down jacket :) Jessie didn't bring her winter jacket and she wore mine.
It wasn't special. But the houses were different from those in Switzerland, that's why I took a picture of it.
Münster Unserer Lieben Frau or Konstanz Minster
A grand catholic church in Konstanz
Jessie and Enson went back earlier than Marvin and I. So we left our footsteps here. I love visiting old places and I dragged Marvin to come with me.
LO.Ok at those organs
Each church tells a story; Each picture tells a story too.
After dinner, we walked along the lake, not to enjoy the view but just to walk. We were at a place which couples locked their love locks up. And we made jokes of it. We laughed about nothing. And suddenly it snowed without warning. We opened our mouth and ate snow. It tasted nothing.
A short day in Konstanz. - The End -
thanks for reading :)
