Niederhorn

Hey there! I don't update this blog since I was on my summer vacation with my host family! And my another host brother, Clemens is back from his exchange semester! I was glad to know him. Now, I'm back to write about my spring holiday. As always, I will post as many pictures as possible.

These 2 days, I went to Niederhorn with Pascal and Patrik!
Niederhorn is a peak of Emmental Alps in the Bernese Oberland near Beatenberg.


I could not forgive myself if I miss this quick shot inside the seilbahn before I reached the summit.


So this is what the people use to get up to Niederhorn, the seilbahn.


I thought I could have touch the sky and the fluffy clouds when I first reached here. It is 1963m high.


From its summit, I saw the Bernese Alps and lake Thun so clearly. The view was absolutely breath-taking!


We walked around to spend our time. We did not hike but I considered as it. Spent our time as in enjoyed the view, observed birds, listened to the nature and embraced ourselves in the nature.


I was extremely close to the edge of the mountain when I took it. I didn't know where did I get the courage to do so but I did it hahahahaha.

There is a restaurant and a children playground on top. We had our dinner there. It was 19.30 as what I remembered. But the temperature was already low. We had a cold evening walk after dinner. After that, we went back to the restaurant again to have desserts!!


The next morning.

We woke up at 4am. Yes, 4am in the morning. It was 0 degree outside. I wore 5 layers of clothes and 2 layers of pants. What did we do? We went to a spot which was perfect to watch nice birds. I do not have much interest in bird-watching but it was a very unexpected experience!! I did like it, of course.

Lötchberg Südrampe The following day after the castle of Lenzburg, I went to the Canton of Wallis with Patrik. www.myswitzerland.com/en-ch/hohtenn-lalden-hiking-classics-on-loetschberg-mountain.html I don't remember where did we start our walk but I am sure that we stopped at the station which called Ausserberg. It was not a difficult walk for me. Here is a sharing of thoughts. I like hiking because of the freedom of it. Without the help of watch, without knowing the exact time, I eat when I feel hungry, I stop when I feel tired. I don't have to bother about anything, just have to be careful when I hike. Hiking makes me feel like as if everything is returned to its origin, nothing is complicated. Erste Woche in der Schweiz

To be honest, I didn't realise that when the first week of me in Switzerland just passed. Personally, I think due to the diet change, I became healthier than I was in Malaysia. I usually started my day with a simple breakfast such as cereal with milk and half of an apple. Lunch would be grains and vegetables of the day. Various types of cheese with bread and a cup of warm tea would be my dinner. I had 8 hours of sleep for the first week. I was very lucky because I don't experience jetlag. The nearest bus stop to my house I really like it  A selfie :) An English garden where I have to walk through in order to go to school Favourite class break snack XD I didn't understand it but now I think I can The first snow in my life. 28th Feb 2017. I woke up to this snow. NOTE : TO SOMEONE, who watches the first snow with me in winter of 2017 I will like to go on a date with you.
